Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Amphitheatre of Serdica to be a unique and historically significant find, especially given its discovery during hotel construction. While some note its small size and potential for temporary closures, its free entry and integration into modern architecture make it an interesting, albeit brief, stop for history enthusiasts.
"The Amphitheater which was built in 3rd and 4th century was discovered during the construction of a city hotel in 2005. It was laid on top a 2nd century Roman theatre.
The current ruins are housed under the Hotel but are accessible to public free of charge (Tuesday to Sunday).
It’s not of a must see but if you are staying in around Sofia and have of extra hours to kill, probably you can get here"

"This place has been closed. Please view my attached photos and videos.
You can see though through glass but it’s upto you whether you want to visit or not. Really nothing much to be seen here."
Ajay Kumar
"The remains of the amphitheatre are located in the basement of the hotel and is used as an art gallery. Not so much to see, a small room with some ruins in good condition and a few wall pannoes that are really interesting."
