Reviews Summary

Wat Enkosei is praised for its peaceful ambiance, ancient stone ruins, and lack of crowds, offering a serene spiritual experience. Visitors appreciate that it doesn't require an Angkor Pass and enjoy the opportunity to connect with the local community, particularly by supporting the adjacent orphanage. Some find it less of a 'must-see' for typical sightseeing but ideal for quiet reflection and prayer.

"A small and peaceful ancient temple that’s located next to a school and orphanage. It’s very old and doesn’t require an Angkor Wat ticket to enter. There is a newer monastery nearby where monks stay. It’s very nice if you would like to pray quietly. Sometimes there’s motorcycle traffic around the area. We were also approached by one of the English teachers at the school and donated some money to the orphanage. Not a must-visit destination if you are here for sightseeing. But if you would like to pray and make some offerings it’s very good."

"Preah Enkosei, thought part of the archeological complex and figure on the list of the Apsara company may be one of the few temple that does not require any ticket whatsoever and the ruins are in a very beautiful and colorful shape. There is a guard looking out for its security which I liked as he takes care of the garden and really care about offering the good and gifts to the God's and buddha as you can watched in these videos and pictures. Therefore, I hope that this review will honor his work as well as all the beautiful flowers and trees, which I did my best to show the beauty of them all."

Surrounded by peaceful greenery, I felt a deep sense of reflection, reverence, and connection to Cambodia’s rich spiritual heritage."
