Is Presqu'ile Provincial Park Open at this time of year?
I am considering watching the eclipse from here as you will get about two minutes of totality. But is the park open? Would I be able to drive to the parking lots near the lake for the eclipse?
Pls recommend: the best spot to star gaze in Ontario. I want to spend my birthday night star gazing and make wish to the stars :) (I'm in Toronto, so anywhere 2 hrs drive radius is good)
Hi friends, what's the best spot that you've been to star gaze? I want to rent a small cabin/cottage for a night and just sit under the sky, get a fire going, and then make my wishes. I'm thinking Algonquin? Collingwood area? Edit: I'm looking into all your suggestions! ❤️❤️…

The facilities are well-maintained, with the washrooms being exceptionally clean. From the parking lot, it's a short 400-meter walk to the beach. We chose Beach 1, which was beautiful and had good, clean water.
One thing to note is that there are no garbage bins at the beach itself, so you need to carry your trash back to the parking area where the bins are located. Additionally, pets and drones are not allowed.
