What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pumphouse Marsh Wildlife Reserve is praised as a peaceful, natural spot with beautiful sunrise views and good wildlife viewing opportunities. Visitors appreciate the free entry, ample parking, and dog-friendly atmosphere. However, the lack of amenities like washrooms and garbage bins is a notable drawback for some.
"What a great like marsh off the Stone Street Park and Trial. You will catch wildlife here ..
Surprising not a very busy spot. There is a look out you can walk up for bird watching and photographers. There is also a dock that goes out for the up close water shots and views. The sunrise is beautiful from this location in the morning (*tip)
There is lots of parking and it's free.
Location has seating on the dock for those who like to sit and read or meditate.
This spot is clean and well maintained (grass is cut and easy to walk though) there is not washrooms in this area or garbage bins so be mindful of that."

"Beautiful walk along the lake with access to a sandy beach and a Stony one. No silly rules such as"no dogs".
Update: was 5 stars - not now! Our nanny government has been at work again! Maybe 250yds of lovely lake access has been fenced off at obviously great tax payer expense! Instead of just removing the “dangerous” concrete blocks or putting up “keep off” signs to satisfy the lawyers, they just removed access to a lovely resource altogether! Typical! Then, to demonstrate how ridiculous this is, they left the end open, allowing anybody to get around the fence with ease! A complete waste of money! 😡"

"Love this park, you can walk in the trails or in the lake shore."
