"Fort Rodd Hill is an incredibly beautiful and fascinating historical site that I highly recommend visiting. The combination of well-preserved military history, stunning ocean views, and natural beauty makes it a fantastic spot for all ages.

The historic fort itself is interesting to explore, with old bunkers, gun batteries, and interpretive signs that bring the past to life. You really get a sense of Canada’s coastal defense history.

The Fisgard Lighthouse is a highlight it’s the oldest lighthouse on Canada’s west coast and offers a picture-perfect setting. The views of the ocean and mountains are breathtaking, and the short walk to the lighthouse is easy and rewarding.

There’s also a great beach area where you can relax, picnic, or just enjoy the scenery. The grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of open space and walking paths.

Whether you’re a history buff, nature lover, photographer, or just looking for a peaceful day outdoors, Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse is a gem. Highly recommended!"

"What a beautiful historic place! Staffs were friendly and very knowledgeable. My favorite was the getting to know medical case and guessing what kind of treatment they were doing at that period. The live demonstration was amazing too. Tried the ice cream here and the chocolate one was great. Good place to bring kids. Will come back!"
