What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Nikolaifleet for its historical charm and picturesque scenery, especially along Deichstraße. The old buildings and canal offer a lovely atmosphere for strolls, particularly at night when illuminated. Some note that low tide can alter the expected views.
"Nice old channel with the oldest buildings in Hamburg. The most beautiful part is located from the opposite side of the Deichstraße street - there on the channel there is a small dock which provides nice views. But at the time of my visit it was a low tide, and views differ a bit from what I saw on the photos. You can get to the dock from the Deichstraße street - there are 2 narrow paths between the buildings on the street that are leading to the dock.
Nice views of the channel from the opposite sides can be seen from the Holzbrücke and Hohe Brücke bridges."
