Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the Lazaros Koundouriotis Mansion for its historical furnishings, captivating views of Hydra port, and the informative exhibition on Greek tourism. However, many note the significant uphill climb required to reach it and its lack of accessibility for those with mobility issues, which can detract from the experience.

"This was my favorite museum I went to while visiting Hydra. It is a great opportunity to see more of the island away from the port as you walk up small winding roads to get here. The museum is a great mix of Hydra history/artifacts and other exhibits, like one on Greek tourism that was on when I visited. Admission also includes admission to the Tetsis Home & Studio nearby which was small but really beautiful to see."

"Personally I don't think it deserves the 10 euro for a ticket. It's not accessible to people with disabilities. The person I went with has less eyesight and they had a hard time bc of the stairs and the lights. It was like six rooms to see and then you go down the stairs, you find toilets(again stairs) and the posters promoting Greece.(You see from the photos I submitted) The experience was difficult as it was not accessible. Wouldn't recommend it if you have any disabilities! The staff was really friendly ☺️"
