"Shravanabelagola is one of the most peaceful and historically rich places I’ve visited. The climb to Vindhyagiri Hill is a bit tiring, but totally worth it for the breathtaking view and the majestic 57-ft Gommateshwara (Bahubali) statue. The place feels calm, spiritual, and beautifully maintained.

"Reaching the 57-foot Bahubali statue in Shravanabelagola involves a fairly challenging ascent of roughly 600–700 steps. The climb is best attempted early in the morning or towards evening, as the bare stone becomes extremely hot during the day and footwear is not permitted—carrying water and wearing socks can make it easier. Extra care is needed if you're accompanying children or elderly family members.
At the top, the site’s impressive temple complex and intricate architecture make the effort worthwhile. The famed Mahamastakabhisheka ceremony is a highlight for many visitors. The surroundings are clean, well maintained, and exude a serene spiritual vibe. Parking facilities are available near the entrance. The panoramic views and the deep sense of tranquility at the summit serve as a perfect reward for the climb."

"We come here every year for darshan. It is a very sacred place for Jains.
First, the statue of Lord Bahubali, the one who leads to salvation, is on Vindaygiri hill. There are two hills here, Vindaygiri and Chandragiri.
Chandragiri is a hill and there are many statues and many temples on it, but it is under the control of the Archaeological Department.
There is a beautiful temple at the foot of Vindaygiri hill. The statues in this temple are also very beautiful. There is a free Bhojanshala for everyone near this temple. Also, good dharamshalas are available at a low cost for those who come to this pilgrimage site for darshan."
