"Takiyama castle ruins are a nice and quiet place to go and chill out. There's multiple sites but unfortunately most of the signs about the ruins are in Japanese.
You can get a great view of the city across the river from a resting place.
Behind it is a small serene farming area with a lot of plantations. When going down towards the river be careful as the stones are smoothed out nicely so they are really slippery."
Finite Trips
"Judging by the name, I was kind of expecting to see at least some castle ruins but there's essentially nothing left of the castle aside from the ground where it once stood.
Still, it's a lovely location for a longer walk and also really nice place to take your lunch at.
”Ascending” to the actual place was a little tiring but looking back, I'm pretty sure I took a wrong (and unnecessary long) path uphill - nevertheless, I nice small trip location!"
Alice
"Very easily accessible place, just a little walk up a track, that doesn’t take long. The walk is also very relaxing and the rebuilt bridge in the ruins makes it slightly unique."
