"Very fun place specially very early morning. I went on a weekend around 6:30 by car. Parking lot is allowed to enter. If you take the stairs make sure your knee is capable of 😅 we chose to go from there to Kagenobuyama. The road was perfect except the sign “be aware of bears”!!! Although the road seems to be safe, but please be careful."

"Loved this hike and not too intense for my fitness level, decent. Nicely signposted from Fujino station if your wifi suddenly sh!+$ the bed like mine did😅 beautiful scenery on the way up and it’s stunning at the top with beautiful views all around. There is a little restaurant at the top also selling beer/drinks/snacks. Make sure you have some cash, I forgot my wallet and only had Suica which they don’t take. Luckily on the way down at about 400m there was some little falls where I could drink some pure water. Took me about 3 hours to hit the top and about half that on the other side going down. I had some really delicious soba at the bus stop to Takao. Recommend this hike for sure."
