"Only an hour from Tokyo Station on Shinkansen, shuttle bus available right after getting off Shinkansen (reservation needed), excellent ski equipment rental + sales at the souvenir shop if you've forgotten hats etc., excellent food (not vegan or Halal) and cakes were spectacular. Hats off to chefs and patissier."

"(I went here at the end of January this year) Its a really great ski resort. The powder is just too thick, but of course there are plenty of runs for beginners too. One thing they should improve on is the safety of people on the peak and the run on the eastern side; during my stay, there was nearly no visibility and it was hard to see with goggles on. There was only 1 guy patrolling on top and no one to be seen on the eastern side which is extra powdery and flat; I had to walk back to the hotel."
