What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Tokyo Disneyland for its incredibly advanced ride technology, immersive theming, and exceptional cleanliness, often calling it a superior Disney experience. While the cost can be a factor, many find it offers great value, especially for families. Some minor drawbacks include the potential for long queues and the complexity of the park's pass systems for first-time visitors.
"What a great park. We personally liked this park more than Disney Sea but still had a great time. There was not as many people here and felt a lot calmer than the other one which is a great switch. It’s super clean, the staff were helpful, and the rides were all unique enough to be fun and enjoyable. The food was also great and had an easy time finding our way around the park.
It does get very hot in August, so please be prepared for the heat. We recommend using the fast passes when you arrive. If you are a tourist, they are worth it if you know you won’t come back.
But we love Disney! And this park was no exception!"

"Disneyland need no introduction. This is where the magic happens. We travelled there by train. The entrance to the park is 5-10 minutes walk away. Just before the entrance is a locker area where you can store your luggage. Unlike all the Disney parks that I have been to, this one is relatively inexpensive for food and drinks and gifts. The park is super clean. All the staff are very friendly, always smiling and waving. We visited on a Monday in September and the queues were not too bad. It averages between 15-30 wait for a ride. Disney is unbelievably organised. For parades and things if you have a premium ticket you get allocated standing space. How organised is that?
Disneyland is fun for kids and adults alike. We are a family of adults and we had a great time. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended."

"Disneyland is one of those magical places that always seems to pull you in, no matter your age or how many times you’ve been before. On this visit to Japan, we knew we had to include a stop here and even though I had experienced other Disney parks, nothing really prepared me for just how busy Tokyo Disneyland gets. From the moment we arrived, the crowds were huge, and we expected to spend most of the day standing in lines.
To our surprise, the day actually turned out really well. We managed to go on every ride we had planned, and even squeezed in a couple of repeat runs. Some of the newer rides were incredible, smooth, immersive, and truly next-level when it comes to theme park experiences. That’s what Disneyland does best—constantly refreshing their attractions while still keeping the old favourites alive.
All the staff we interacted with were polite and helpful, and even with the sheer number of visitors, the park felt well managed. None of the major rides were closed, which was a huge bonus, and the parade at night was honestly one of the highlights, it’s worth staying for that alone.
If I ever came again, I might choose a day with light rain to avoid some of the crowd, but overall, we had a fantastic time and I’d absolutely visit again. It’s a full day of fun, nostalgia, and magic."
