Insider Tips

Nishizawa Valley - this was a really good hike. It starts along a river passing waterfalls, then climbs up into the mountains. It was a long day trip from Tokyo (about two and a half hours each way - train from Shinjuku to Enzan Station, then a bus) but totally worth it. #nishizawavalley #yamanashi #japantravel #naturewalk #西沢渓谷

Nishizawa Ravine is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in Japan. The trail is about 5-6 hours long, with many waterfalls and clear blue rivers along the way. The highlight is the big waterfall called Nanatsugama-Godan-no-Taki—very powerful and amazing!"
