Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Governor's Museum to be a well-arranged and informative stop, particularly appreciating the historical artifacts and the building's Dutch colonial architecture. While some feel the display of items could be enhanced, its inclusion in the '5-in-1' ticket makes it a valuable addition to exploring Malacca's heritage sites.
"Visited in Feb.
This museum is housed in the former governors mansion and mainly exhibits gifts and personal belongings of all the former governors or heads of state of Malacca. The museum is well arranged and there’s even a section with biographies of many of the former governors and heads of state. Downstairs, you can see some of the rooms that were used by the governors. The dinner table for entertaining official guests is perfectly laid out and looks nice.
The museum is housed in a nice Dutch Colonial style white building with well tended gardens all around. Entrance to this museum is free as part of the entrance to the Stadthuys Museum complex and is one that is worth visiting if you have time."

"Love the place. Lots of information displayed. Artifacts well preserved. I can't give 5 stars because some of the things is not properly displayed as to my expectation of governor's residence"
