"Public pool in Taiping at the start of the hiking trail to Bukit Larut. There are a few gerai-gerai (shops) outside the main entrance to the carpark. The pool water is yellowish green as it's fed from a nearby waterfall. The water was very cool and refreshing. There are 3 pools. The largest one is 6 feet 5 inches deep (quite deep), the smallest one by the waterfall is about thigh height, and the mediul-sized one at the far end is about waist height. The pool water is not pristine as dirt and leaves to fall into it. Also be aware that some of the pool tiles have come off the bottom of the pools so be careful that you don't cut your feet, and they're also slippery. There are a few tables and chairs around with and without umbrellas, also blue steps to sit in and dry off. RM5 per adult, RM3 per kid. You can buy pool toys at the place where you pay for the tickets."
