Reviews Summary

Bodø Marina is a functional and strategically important port, praised for its modern facilities and proximity to town amenities. Visitors appreciate its role as a gateway to the Lofoten Islands and the opportunity to witness the powerful Saltstraumen tidal current. However, some find the rib safaris to be expensive for the potential sightings.

"Bodo has quite big harbour where you can find either big ferries or small boats and yachts. I reccommend a walk along a pier."

Paweł

"Great town you can purchase almost any item here. They are also known for their strong tide and whirlpools. If you were on a ship and thinking about the rib safari, it is not worth the price. But you do get to see Salmon farming up close and maybe a whirlpool but your best times for that is during full moon or no moon. This town also has the largest Air Force Base due to proximity to Russia."

Robert Havey

The port is very closest to the train station and the town in the radio 400m did you find everything you need the town is a nice big very busy town of the North everything around the port is signposted and places are easily found."
