Parque das Gerações skatepark, aka PDG skatepark, was inaugurated back in 2013 by the Municipality of Cascais who invested more than 300000€ to build one of the best skateparks in the country back in the days. The skatepark is located 700 meters from the São João do Estoril train station and was designed by the Portugues architect Francisco Lopez.
In 2017 Parque das Gerações won the OP2017 and the money was used to build the best bowl in Portugal (built by Wasteland skateparks).
This park is definitely worth a visit and the sunset sessions with seaview are unforgettable. It's a place where skaters from all around the world somehow end up and one of Gustavo Ribeiro's local parks before turning pro. The skatepark features a snakerun, bowl and large street section with a nice variety of obstacles to hit. You also have a bar, skate shop and an area to train your dogs at the location."
