It includes various buildings of the National Assembly, including the main conference hall, committee conference rooms, the Speaker's residence, the Members' Hall, the security building, and the vehicle maintenance depot. It is a stone building with 1 underground floor and 7 above-ground floors, and is the largest single parliamentary building in the East. It was completed in August 1975 after 6 years of construction, and is a modern building style with traditional Korean beauty. The 24 pillars surrounding the National Assembly building represent the diverse opinions of the people, and the dome roof symbolizes the essence of parliamentary democracy, where the people's opinions are discussed for and against and then come to a conclusion."

"This is a beautiful building with lovely grounds! Sadly we we unable to tour inside due to time constraints, however it was still nice to walk the grounds. We even got to see a camera crew filming a scene from a K Drama!"
