How cold is Jeju's Eorimok / Yeongsil trail in August and what clothes should we pack?
Hi everyone, We are thinking of hiking either of these trails beginning of August and even though it's the hottest month, will it be cold at the top of these trails? Especially when it rains? Will it be very windy? Will a simple windbreaker and a poncho do it? We come from…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Yeongsil Trail for its stunning scenic variety and manageable length, offering rewarding views without the commitment of summiting Hallasan. While some find the steep sections challenging, the diverse terrain and panoramic coastal vistas make it a highly recommended hike for those seeking natural beauty on Jeju Island.
"The shortest trail for Hallasan. If you don’t have much time, just take this trail. Simply walk 3.5 km to reach the meadows then come back it takes just 3 hrs round-trip."
Nataphol Tovichakchaikul
"Quite difficult but worth the views. One of the best trails I have done. I am adding photos of practical information such as the difficulty level and by what time you can enter in different months and start your descend."
Katarzyna Karpiesiuk
"This trail was nice though when we were there in early June, there was quite a bit of drizzling on our hike. We turned around mid-way due to time reasons, do also note that there's a cut off time for the entry time around 3pm. There's also a parking area right in front of the entrance to the trail and there are people letting you into the parking area.
Note that this trail doesn't take you to the summit and crater. You have to book the trail tickets for 2 other tickets if you want to go up the summit and see the crater."
