"It is a pretty good place to visit the sustainability practices of Mr. Geoffrey Bawa. He has a great design sense and architectural sense. You can see how he reuses stuff. If you are going there, you must take the tour. They are strict with timings, be there like 5 min before the start. The gardens are beautiful.
If you are into nature and architecture, you must visit. Kids may not enjoy it as it's almost a 2-hour tour and they may be bored. But, if you can engage them, it will be fun.
The way he has designed the estate over 30 years before without phones and having bells, pond of butterfly, river side plantations, etc. are amazing."
