Great area to stop and take a breath of fresh air and absorb the majesty of the Taroko area before you head up into the valley. Be warned, the water can be dangerous - rip tides and strong currents. But for beauty, this should be on every visitors map for a photo opportunity. Not many amenities and it's essentially just a lay-by and viewpoint, but 5 stars nonetheless."
