"I visited the museum on the first Sunday of the month with my foreign friend, as it’s supposed to be a free entry day for everyone. However, when we arrived, we were told by the staff that free entry only applies to Tunisians, while foreigners are required to pay an admission fee, even on free entry days. This was disappointing, as I wanted to share this cultural experience with my friend visiting Tunisia, but this policy made the experience frustrating.
Additionally, we noticed that the museum could use more cleaning and maintenance, which surprised us, especially for a place that serves as a cultural and tourist attraction.
I hope the museum management will consider offering free entry to everyone on certain days and paying more attention to cleanliness and upkeep to make the experience more enjoyable and appealing for all visitors, both Tunisians and foreigners."

The palace itself is in a decent condition of conservation, almost as it was on 6 November 1987, but the ancillary buildings, fountain, pool, and garages are in a very poor condition. Also, the former gardens are now construction sites for private villas and apartment blocs."
