Insider Tips

Hi everyone - just wanted to do a quick update and say thank you to u/depressionbreakfast for sending over reference material, it really helped with my watercolour painting of St Paul’s church on West Street.
I’m working on more watercolour paintings of the landmarks of Brighton, does anyone have any ideas for which other buildings I should do, or who might be interested in these? I am thinking about doing the Holy Trinity/fabrica or St Bartholomew’s next.

Does anyone have any recommendations of good venues in Brighton for a wedding of around 100 guests? And of course any that you think I should avoid would also help! Thanks in advance :)

An incredible tranquil space amid the buzz of Brighton's bustling Lanes, we booked well ahead of time and built up a great relationship with the events staff at Fabrica. The result was an incredibly smooth running day. We couldn't be happier with how it all went and Fabrica was the perfect backdrop for it all. Highly, highly recommend!"

"Came here for The Great Escape Festival and was treated to Tommy Wá and Allie Sherlock. Beautiful. Nice bar, a couple of tables that we took advantage of sitting at for a while and well organised. A great setting for music"

"We visited Fabrica for the Forked Forest Path by Olafur Eliason Exhibition. The exhibition was spooky and very impressive. Walking through the exhibition have the feeling of walking through a real forest. It was one of my favourite places during our Brighton weekend. The staff was helpful and courteous and the exhibition really well cured. I would visit again for another exhibition when traveling to Brighton. Recommended for a visit for sure!"
