Visitors consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff, good food at the canteen, and clean facilities, making it a top choice for divers of all levels.

"Capernwray to many divers like myself is a
haven. An underwater playground with perhaps one of the best collections of underwater attractions and wildlife that an inland dive site can offer. And then there’s the water itself, which when I first visited on a cold November morning, stunned me with how clear and inviting it was. Pair all this with a great shop, wonderful staff, and a stupendous café cake selection and you’re hard pressed to find better. Every weekend the car park bustles with dive clubs, freedivers and open water swimmers from across Britain who travel purposefully to enjoy all that Capers has to offer."

Stephen Lacey

"My favourite quarry to dive in the UK by far.

This place has the best wrecks, especially the passenger jet wreck, I love swimming through that!

Also some of their fish are huge!

The staff are always very friendly, and the food is really good too.

Highly recommend any scuba diver to come and dive here :)"
