"This is a place I visited often when I was younger and I was so pleased to see it is still relatively unspoilt. There are great coastal walks in both directions and also along the estuary through the dunes. Please be aware of the strong undertow in the river and only cross when the tide is well out. Appears to be good for surfing and sea fishing. There is horse riding available and it's great to watch the horses gallop along the beach and gambol in the surf."

"Beautiful beach with an interesting rock formation! I went with the dogs and was able to park in the car park nearby which was easily accessible and not far at all from the beach.
Lovely area lots of space on the beach. I did go on a Monday morning so it was very quiet which for someone with anxiety was great 🤣.
The dogs loved it and it was nice to see the area. Did see some people on horses in the distance on the beach which was lovely to see but just as a warning in case you take your dogs 🥰🐕.
