Reviews Summary

Park Hall Country Park is cherished as a vital green space offering diverse walks, abundant wildlife, and unique geological features. While many praise its natural beauty and well-maintained paths, some visitors caution about potential anti-social behavior near free car parks and inconsistent facility availability. Reddit

"I am leaving a 5 star review because this is a lovely nature park in Stoke, absolutely need the green space and it is teeming with bird and insect life, rabbits, and so on. It is an essential part of the city's ecosystem and you can have so many lovely walks here, no two walks are the same! There are some interesting geological formations and 100% worth the visit if you are in the area.

I will say, though as a warning, that there are issues with anti-social behaviour near the free car parks, including people with balaclavas on dirt bikes, and drug use. I have reported some behaviour to the police before. As such, I would not recommend going here alone particularly as a woman, unless it is a busy weekend day. This is nothing against the location itself, it is wonderful here, it's entirely due to some of the people who come here so I have not reflected this in the star rating - it's more an FYI for visitors."

Sadie Pixie

"Wonderful, very clean area, well maintained paths, beautiful variety of plants, some of the walks could be sign posted better, there are some more accessible walks if you have mobility issues.
Pleanty of different car parks, but bare in mind the car park you choose may vary the immediate accessibility of the walks so I'd advise you pick your carpark based on rhe walk you choose.
Dog friendly just clean up after your pets.
There are bins at key points throughout the park as well as park benches and picnick tables.
This park is tended with the help of Park Hall Friends who help clean the area and maintain its splendid atmosphere."

T Kat

"Nice place for a good walk, open all year round, although a bit wet and boggy in places during wet weather. There is a choice of walks to do over a landscape that dates back millions of years. There are several car parks and several access points."
