"Big imposing ruins...We walked the outer edge before heading to Flatts wood... Looking through the main gates, (admission fee applies) the inside looks well kept and clean...Due to the weather(raining) we didn't go inside, but planned to go back later...Lawned areas, flower beds surround the castle, benches etc to rest.... The town itself as a quaint village feel, with many knick knack shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants... Great architecture was everywhere, the Butter market forms the center of a roundabout..."
