Nelson, Nevada - 45 Minute trip from Vegas. Some shots taken there by me wit the DJI Mavic 3
I used to work there. I did mine tours and atv rides. The town is actually called Techatticup, Nelson is right down the road.
Where in Nevada should everyone visit before they die?
We're making a list based on social media suggestions. We're thinking more towns, natural formations, landmarks and stuff like that over restaurants, clubs, etc. Anything you think belongs on it?

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the unique historical experience of the Techatticup Mine and the quirky charm of Nelson Ghost Town. The opportunity for great photos and the adventurous ATV tours are also highlights. Some visitors note that the mine tour might not be suitable for those with claustrophobia, and the desert heat requires careful preparation.
"It's a fin place with tons of interesting artifacts. It was over 110 degrees the day we were there so I didn't get to explore all the things I wanted to see outside. On a cooler day I would've stayed much longer. Take water with you to drink. Mine was cool. Both asthetically and literally. It's just above the Colorado River and the back side of Lake Mead Recreation Area"

"Fantastic experience. Great place to walk around and see the beautiful buildings and to take a mine tour. It's so amazing how you can see the vains in the rocks for mining. Very informative tour. MUST open the freezer in the gift shop. Love the new chappel."

"While visiting Vegas for the weekend My boyfriend and I had so much fun with this establishment. First we did the ATV riding. Patty was our tour guide and she was absolutely Amazing ! We then did the mine tour and that was pretty cool too. Bruce was our tour guide for that cool activity and he was amazing as well. We actually got to meet the owners and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. If Im not mistaking we paid a total of 375 for the whole experience and Id definitely come back to do the whole thing over again. After our tour they recommended we go a few miles down the road to visit a popular lake and we loved that as well. Thanks for making Vegas an amazing experience for Us !"
