How long does it take to kayak the entire Etowah Water Trail, from Dahlonega to Rome?
In case you haven't seen this already there is a lot of information here - http://www.etowahwatertrail.org/ I don't know the answer either; my cousin (who unfortunately died a few years ago) had kayaked that route several times but I don't remember her saying how long it…
My first Redeye/Coosa Bass! Caught on the Etowah River in north Georgia.
That blue hew is fucking dope. I'm in Dawsonville, where do you out in on the Etowah? Probably going to go try and catch one of these tomorrow.

"We used this as a parking and launch to access the Etowah River Trail. We kayak from this park to Kelly Bridge. The river is narrow and mostly shaded. Fishing is great. Light rapids. Great for weekend adventures! Please keep this park clean and wear a life jacket if you get on the river."

"I give this area of the Etowah river 5 stars. Once you enter the forest, the only thing you'll hear is nature. It's a gentle paddle with an occasional class 1. We unfortunately went before the river was cleared after 2 strong storms. A half mile in, we encountered a strainer, completely blocking the river. Instead of climbing over and chancing more strainers, we turned around and paddled back to the car."

"No playground. No bathroom. Primarily a put in spot for kayaking and canoeing on Etowah River. There is a large dog park area with pavilion and picnic tables. Also benches and small pavilion near the put in area. I like to stop here for a picnic, or just to sit and be in nature when I am in the area."
