"Beautiful place for a walk and pictures. Also there is a park for kids. I am glad that I planned to stop here on the way to Acadia National Park. There was ample parking space on a Saturday afternoon and there was no fee as well. There is sign for swimming at users own risk and no kayaking. Dogs are allowed here but need to be on a leash. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Loved camping here. Only problem was the showers are not really warm. They tried working on it but still water was only luke warm. Cold for early season camping 🏕
Lots of nice people camp here, polite, friendly and respectful. Lots of locals too. Easy online reservations.
Beach is clean. Love dogs but appreciate them not being allowed on the beach 👍
As a senior they offer free admission for day use. Beautiful walking trails and early morning sunrises etc."

"We enjoyed this campground. Showed up in the afternoon without reservations and still got a spot on the water. The staff was very friendly. We would camp here again when in the area."
