Tips for Hermann?
We’ve never been and are planning to go for one night in late March. I’m starting from scratch here- is it better to drive or take the train from Kirkwood? Any recommendations for B&Bs, or places to avoid? Bomb-ass breakfast places? Genuinely, any tips would be appreciated!

Hermann missouri tips
hello everybody, thinking of taking a little day trip to Hermann on the 26th of November, any sight seeing? We don’t drink ( which IK is why people go there for) and our kids are teenagers so anything historical to see would be nice. thanks in advances. lunch spots…
I am thinking about road tripping to Herman, MO, this weekend. I've heard good things about it. Any suggestions on fun stuff to do?
Hermann is fun for about 1.5 days, tops, no longer. There's enough wineries and breweries that if you tour each, and linger around for drinks at each, it's about 1 full day and another half day worth of stuff to do. So whether you go down on a Friday afternoon and come back…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the spectacular scenery and the fun, knowledgeable trolley drivers who enhance the experience. The charming town of Hermann, with its bakeries and shops, is also a major draw. However, some find the 'special ticket' wine tasting experiences limiting and expensive, and accessibility at certain wineries can be an issue for some.
"This tour was SO fun! The scenery is spectacular. Make sure you ride the trolley. The drivers are very knowledgeable and make the whole experience. They were singing with us and gave info on each place we went. The little town is also so cute. They have some awesome bed and breakfasts and shops you could stay in for days. Sugar Mommas bakery has the best pie ever! Also, make sure you visit the chocolate candy place and the cheese and sausage store. Overall a great experience and I would go back everyday!"

"This was such a fun experience! I would highly recommend it. The country is beautiful and everyone is warm and friendly. All of the winery's along the trail offer wine tasting and snacks while enjoying the site's and cellars. It's a must do for this area in Hermann!"

"Due to the stairs and hills we are finding Dierbergs, Hermannhof and Reserve Cellars are hard for us to access. We have been going to the Wine Trail for many many years and have always enjoyed it. But now we find we can no longer enjoy it due to the inaccessibility. We were not the only ones affected. We saw many others that were experiencing what we were. If the accessibility could be improved we would love to continue attending,"
