Three cool things I think we liked the most:
1) the scavenger hunt (although I did hafta lug the heavy stepping stools about so my 7 year old could participate)
2) the wall that shows the secret language hobos used and gave a backstory on hobos was neat (and they throw a few of the glyphs around the museum, and my gals liked deciphering them)
3) the kids immensely enjoyed the train simulator.

Great historical exhibits, a short movie, a shop with photos of Tweetsie and other local trains and experts who explain the exhibits and answer questions. There was live music the day I visited."

There is so much to see, and no matter how many times you go back for another look, you will see details you missed before. So much love and care went into the amazing displays, and it shows. There are so many friendly people there who are obviously passionate about the subject of railroading and local railroad history. Even adults and kids who aren't that interested in trains, will love the interesting scenes going on in the models. We will be coming back for sure!"
