Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Mountain Home National Cemetery for its immaculate upkeep, breathtaking mountain scenery, and the profound sense of peace it offers. The staff are frequently commended for their pride and dedication in serving veterans and their families. However, a few reviews mention deeply disappointing experiences with funeral services, citing disrespect and unprofessionalism, which starkly contrasts with the otherwise positive feedback.

"A beautiful place where or veterans are laid to rest. My Dad happens to be there. Some day I'll be there too. The employees take tremendous pride in serving every veteran who comes thru the gates. Excellent staff"

"Have you ever walked among giants? I did. Today. At the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City. Wreaths Across America - Official Page joined military cadets, Veterans and a grateful community to Remember and Honor our Veterans. A brief ceremony was followed by those present laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes with the purposed act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud by the person at the moment the wreath is set at the grave marker. Let me tell you, the meaning and emotion of that moment will be forever etched in my mind. To look out across the landscape and realize you are standing in the midst of giants is humbling for this civilian. God bless our Veterans."

Lon Martin

"Well kept. Beautiful mountain views! There is a convenient little station near the gravesite that provides complimentary vases and water for your floral arrangements (but make sure to bring your own water if you use fresh flowers in the winter)! We appreciate the bathrooms onsite as well."
