"Went to the Historic Ramsey house on a whim. In the area and seen it on Google maps. It's a beutiful home built in 1797. The property is also impressive with additional out buildings. We decided to take the tour of the home. It was $10 for adults and $8 for kids. Our three year old was free. We did the tour with Ethan and he was a very knowledgeable young man. He explained every room and answered questions. He was an excellent representative of this amazing home. He did an excellent job. The home is really incredible. Filled with antiques and some original furnishings. It's an example of what wealth in the 1700's could afford you. We were at the governor's home at Marble Springs and the difference is night and day. Ethan actually pointed that out in the tour. It's really informative and interesting. You can smell the age when you walk into this home. It's really something to behold. We like to expose our kids to these types of experiences. They really enjoyed it and so did we. I would highly recommend a visit to Historic Ramsey House and please remember to tip Ethan for the tour. He does a great job and a tip is appropriate for what he does."
