What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Suttree Landing Park is praised for its beautiful riverfront path and stunning Knoxville skyline views, making it ideal for walks, bike rides, and kayaking. While some recent reviews mention concerns about unkempt grass and parking issues due to nearby construction, the park's prime location and amenities like the kayak launch and playground remain significant draws for visitors seeking outdoor recreation.
"Really nice park with a long path along the river. There's a large number of benches and tables. Including a playground about halfway down. That playground has a huge ramp that goes to a set of slides. I thought that was really interesting. The views are quite nice. And at the Pavilion there is a dog watering station as well."

"This place is in the absolute best spot in Knoxville... Hipsterville USA. I mean most of them are like 15-20 years younger than me but it's got a vibe.... And the places to drink. But #1 is the unbeatable kayak launch! Right smack into the most beautiful and peaceful place you could ever paddle.... I'm in love"
Rob Buchman
"It used to be a good quiet place for walking a dog, playing with kids or reading a book. However, it seems like nearby apartment construction does no good for a park.
It's not fully built yet, but the parking is already filled with tenants' cars, just because it's 5 feet closer to the door than parking on the back.
Nobody cut the grass for eternity, so it's already on the sidewalk. You can't even see the river sitting on the bench because it's so tall! And it's not some rare species, but common weeds.
These are just concerns. Just a year ago, I would rate the place 5 star. I hope something changes for the better after the apartment complex is finally finished."
