What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Leland Harbor and Marina for its picturesque location within Fishtown, excellent marina facilities, and friendly, professional staff. The charm of the historic village, combined with the opportunity to enjoy fresh smoked fish and collect Leland Blue stones, makes for a memorable experience. Some minor drawbacks include spotty Wi-Fi and crowds during peak season, but overall, it's considered a jewel of Lake Michigan marinas.
"Had a great time at the Leland Township Marina. We enjoy staying here on annual boat trips. The staff was very good like always, and provide great assistance at the fuel docks and your slip. They clean the docks daily (sweep spider webs, clean power stands), etc. We have to call out Sam who has been there for a while who is on top of his game! The marina is right at the edge of Leland (Fish Town) with great restaurants, and gotta have fresh caught smoked lake fish and village cheese shanty sandwiches. Very nice sunsets and easy access to the beach."

"Great marina, adorable town, wonderful people! Our boat was having issues and the marina staff was so helpful and courteous in extending our stay and helping us find a mechanic. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and a great treat after a week on the hook! We would gladly stay there again…and again…and again!"

"Beautiful marina. Well kept. Would call it a jewel of Western MI marinas. They have everything you need w/in short walking distance. The staff are awesome, professional. Wish they stayed open later, but that is on me. WiFi spotty. Pretty crowded in July/August, plan ahead to get a slip and plan to wait in lines for dinner. Several boaters like to place chairs on the dock making it a bit crowded and hard to pass."
