"If you visit Louisville, KY and have the opportunity to visit Churchill Downs, I would highly recommend going. This time, I attended the evening racing on a Thursday and had a great experience. The crowd was smaller and temperatures were more comfortable. They had $2 beer, live music, and food trucks. Churchill Downs is a beautiful place and they keep making it better. (See the pictures I posted from an upper level at the track) I have gone to Churchill for Oaks, Derby, evening races, and wedding receptions. Check their website for events and special occasions throughout the year. You won't be disappointed!"

surprisingly there are 600,000 seats - well that’s the correct answer of the guide asks you - a bit hard to believe looking at the venue.
guess the magic of this place is during the derby and seeing it empty just shows you how people are the core of anything.
