What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning ocean views, relaxing atmosphere, and the exciting discovery of marine life in the tide pools. The historic ruins add a unique element of interest. However, the small parking lot and lack of amenities are common drawbacks.
"It was a short hike to get to the water from the parking lot. Once we got closer to the water we climbed on the large rocks to find a perfect picnic spot. The view was amazing and the waves rolling in was relaxing. We were able to climb up and down the large rocks fairly easily to find all the little tide pools. We were really excited to find a starfish moving around those tide pools, a few crabs scurrying about and a bunch of different types of sea shells. I was also able to find some pretty interesting (to me) rocks to try tumbling with my grandkids."

"Best views and seaside walks in Narraganset. Just a few miles from the seawall and beach. Walk or bike around the trails that go by the rocks and breaking surf. Fishing is good off the rocks, but be aware of the tides. Nice place to look for sea glass, although less than there used to be. Take the trails all the way to Scarborough beach and then walk the beach too. So nice! Parking lot is very small so best to get there early or late in the day. Evening walks are so sweet too! Walking distance from eastward look. Great stop on the bike tour. Also Love going here during storms to check out the waves."

"What a quick little neat trail to the ruins. The information sign tells you some history. There are no bins so pack in and out. Can climb inside the ruins. Would be perfect for sunrise or sunset photos.
The parking lot fills up fast. I noticed there were some side trails going onto the main one. It’s a little busy of a weekend."
