What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise The Burn for its exceptional hospitality, beautiful grounds, and delicious breakfasts, especially the renowned biscuits. The historic charm and attentive staff create a welcoming and memorable stay, though some dining options in town have limited hours.
"We definitely enjoyed our stay at The Burn. The staff is very warm, friendly and welcoming. Nell will take great care of you during the day. Wahneta and JoAnn pamper you with a delicious breakfast which includes an awesome biscuit. Be sure to take the house tour that is offered after breakfast. There is a very nice pool and garden area for enjoying the outdoors. Very quiet location with plenty of on site parking. Our suite was very nicely furnished, very comfortable, and spotless. Because of mobility issues we needed the only downstairs room which is easily accessible from the car park without steps. However, once inside our room there is one step up into the large bath area.
It is just a short drive from downtown and very good restaurants. Pasta on Pearl St. and Magnolia Griil were our favorites. Both offer very large portions . Magnolia Grill has a private parking lot. Most restaurants are closed on Sunday. Some on Monday.
It is well worth the 15 minute drive to the historic Mammy's Cupboard restaurant which is only open for lunch. Great food and amazing homemade cakes and pies."

"From check in with Nell, including a glass of sangria, to delicious breakfasts and a beautiful comfortable home, we had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Clara room and it was perfect for us. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept great. Breakfast was good both mornings (the biscuits should have a poem written about them!), but the real standout was Nell. I swear she was always there and is an absolute gem. The grounds are beautiful and we spent a lot of time walking around. The town of Natchez had a lot of historical places to explore and good restaurants. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted to do. We will definitely plan another visit to The Burn."
