What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Garden of Five Senses for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, diverse themed gardens, and engaging art installations. It's a popular spot for families due to its inclusive play areas and ample space for picnics. Some reviewers noted a desire for more trash receptacles to maintain cleanliness.
"I love this park. It’s in a nice scenic area. It’s large enough that your kids have plenty of room to run around and expend all that energy they have (that tends to drain me I don’t know about you!). There’s a really neat garden you can walk through and learn about different plants and ecosystems, and they also have a nice interactive trail you can take a stroll on with wildlife you can share with the kiddos. My favorite thing about this park is the shade, most of the park is covered over by the large oak trees that offer much needed shade, especially in the summers. And there’s plenty to do. There’s a tot area for the little, littles and a larger area with picnic tables, a teeter-totter, swings (with handicap accommodations), drums, a rope climb, a sit down merry go round, a larger separate swing and a sit and sway. There are also water fountains and bathrooms. It’s very well kept up and I’ve rarely seen any littler around the park. Definitely a fun, relaxing location for the whole family."

"What a nice little park. They have drinking fountains, restrooms, plenty of benches and places to have a picnic. They have a couple of nice short walking trails. The only thing I wish they would add is a few more garbage cans. We had a large group of children for a picnic, and the closest trash can was on the trail. A few more trash cans might also help with all the litter in the park. I definitely recommend checking out this cute little park."

"Two excellent parks in one. Garden of the five senses has picnic tables and paths with plant displays including inspiring and educational messages. Truly lovely. Just a few feet away is Boundless Adventure, the best inclusive playground for many miles. Truly world class.
And Warm Mineral Springs is just down the road (and evolving!) Make a day of it! Congrats to North Port planners for this recreation area. World class destinations have world class parks, and this fits the bill."
