The museum is interesting, as there is a sod house and some other buildings used during the early prairie times. The staff were friendly and provided some additional information. Came here after doing Badlands Helicopter Tour and Badlands Ranch Store earlier in the morning.
Visitor Center has a fairly nice selection of clothing and other items for reasonable prices.
As part of tour, you are able to watch a quick video in a small room inside the building.
Once outside, you can see the sod home which offered a unique experience.
Don’t forget to press the button by the home to hear more history while you’re exploring!
Outside you can also see a “root cellar” that was used for food storage. The outhouse is very funny, you’ll see when you open the door.
Worthy stop for 20-30 minutes."
