The natural beauty, including a grotto and scenic overlooks, is a major draw, with many enjoying the wildlife sightings. Some visitors express frustration with dog owners not cleaning up after their pets, and the proximity to a road can lead to some traffic noise.

"Nice area for hiking. This area has a network of trails and loops for short or very long hikes. Most of the trails are shaded. At the trail head you will find a water fountain and a primitive restroom. Most of the trails have signs to let you know what trail you are on. I did see deer and squirrels along the trail. I definitely enjoyed hiking here."

"Great place to walk trails are clean lots of different places to go and explore was our first time there parking was ok I think we were upper level of the area. Love the trail names. Only complaint I have is people with dogs. I get it it sucks touching poop but hey if u wipe your butt you can pick up after your dog. The park is doing there part but come on people u have a dog your walking your dog ur dog poops pick it up. They have trash can everywhere and places for it. Or hey don't go walking with ur dog. Think about it if u have to go to the bath room u don't drop ur pants and just go u STOP what ur doing to go find a bathroom right??? Be considerate and pick up your dogs poop. And yes I have a dog and yes I pick up his poop every time even when I don't have a bag I will grab extra just in case."

David Moore

"Fun place to hike! Right off of a major road so you can hear cars but the nature is nice and there are a few cute spots that are meadows, others in the woods. Trails are good lengths and you can spend a good part of the day out there. I would say easy-moderate difficultly"
