What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Riveredge Nature Center for its beautiful natural setting, especially the boardwalks and opportunities for wildlife spotting. It's a hit with families who enjoy the space for kids to explore. However, some guests have found trail markings confusing and noted potential logistical challenges with venue access outside of main hours.
"We rented out the Sugarbush House over a Friday / Saturday for my wedding. The venue itself was beautiful, lovely area, and affordable. All of the guests on Saturday also commented how much they enjoyed the location.
The one downside to this not being a dedicated venue is there is no one to contact after the main center closes. We paid extra to get access on Friday evening for set up and rehearsal so we did not have to try and rush to do it all Saturday morning. While the venue itself was unlocked, the staff locked all of the bathrooms on site, and there was no one to contact about getting them open. When I inquired about it over email, all we got is a "we will open them up today [Saturday]". It was just a bit of a logistical headache and extra stress, especially on the bride."

"Stunning spot with lots of space to explore + boardwalks!- my personal favorite. My 1.5 year old loved running up and down hills, climbing stairs, smelling flowers, and getting muddy. We didn't see the sand area until we were leaving...I guess we will have to come back!"

"Great nature area, lots of frogs, ponds, turtles, hiking trails. Hardly any other people there. The restrooms are inside which is nice and a bubbler for water. You do have to pay to walk the trails, but it is worth it."
