Aaron Hickey

Aaron Hickey is Scotland's most technically gifted full-back, a left-footer who plays predominantly at right-back and excels in both defensive duels and attacking transitions. He made his name at Bologna in Serie A as a teenager before Brentford paid to bring him to the Premier League, where his directness and crossing ability have made him a consistent performer. Injury has interrupted his momentum at club level, but when fit he is Scotland's most dynamic wide defender and one of the few Scottish players who could realistically attract interest from Europe's elite clubs.
