Brenden Aaronson

Brenden Aaronson made his name at Red Bull Salzburg with relentless pressing and intelligent movement in tight spaces before joining Leeds in 2022. After a difficult first season in the Championship following relegation, he has re-established himself at Elland Road and recaptured the energetic, high-tempo form that made him one of Europe's most exciting young midfielders. For the USMNT he operates in the attacking third, pressing high and creating chances through movement rather than dribbling. His work rate is exceptional and his goals-to-minutes ratio for the national team has been solid — he is at his best when given licence to press aggressively from the front.
