Brian Gutiérrez

Brian Gutiérrez emerged through the Chicago Fire academy and became one of MLS's more exciting young midfielders before making the move to Chivas in Mexico. Born in Chicago to Mexican parents, he was eligible for both nations and committed to the USMNT in 2024. A dynamic, progressive midfielder with good vision and the ability to carry the ball through lines, he represents the kind of dual-heritage talent the US Soccer pipeline has increasingly leaned on. Still only 23, he is competing for a midfield spot on a USMNT squad that has significant depth in his position.
