Facundo Pellistri

Facundo Pellistri is a quick, right-sided winger whose career has been defined by the gap between his obvious talent and consistent first-team football. Signed by Ole Gunnar Solskjær at Manchester United from Peñarol as a teenager, he spent his Old Trafford years largely on loan, including a stint at Granada, before joining Panathinaikos in 2024. At his best he is direct and difficult to contain in tight spaces, and Uruguay have used him as an option off the bench, where his energy and ability to stretch defences can change the tempo of a game.
