Gio Reyna

Gio Reyna is the most technically gifted player the United States has produced in years — a creative forward who came through Borussia Dortmund's system and was handed Bundesliga minutes as a teenager. The son of former USMNT captain Claudio Reyna, he has the vision and touch of a classic number ten, capable of threading passes through lines and arriving late into the box. Injuries have repeatedly disrupted his momentum at club and international level, most painfully at the 2022 World Cup, and his move to Borussia Mönchengladbach is partly about reclaiming consistent playing time heading into 2026.
