Jhon Lucumí is a composed, ball-playing centre back who has established himself as one of Serie A's more reliable defenders since joining Bologna in 2022. Developed at Deportivo Cali and refined at Genk — where he was a teammate of Daniel Muñoz — Lucumí reads the game intelligently and is comfortable initiating attacks from deep.
