Jorge Gutiérrez

Jorge Gutiérrez is a Panamanian defender who spent the formative years of his career entirely at Tauro FC, one of Panama's most successful domestic clubs, before moving to Venezuelan side Deportivo La Guaira in 2023. That limited exposure outside Panamanian football makes him one of the less internationally tested options in the squad, and at 27 he is still working to establish himself at the national level. His familiarity with Panamanian football's rhythms and structures gives him a base to work from, but breaking into a competitive defensive unit will require consistent performances in Venezuela.
